LASER SCAR REMOVAL
A carbon dioxide laser is used for LASER SCAR REMOVAL. CO2 Laser is typically used to smoothen the texture of the skin, fine lines wrinkles, and scars. This is the most effective treatment for scars caused due to Acne/pimple, injury or surgical scar, chickenpox scars, and for resurfacing.
At Radiance the newest version of CO2 laser resurfacing (fractionated CO2) uses very short pulsed light energy. It is much safer and with less downtime compared to traditional CO2 Lasers.
Other lasers used for skin resurfacing are Erbium Glass (FRAXEL), Erbium YAG (PIXEL), RF Microneedling, and Microneedling without RF (Dermaroller). All these are much less effective then
The downtime is usually from 3 days to one week.
